Man punched and car keys stolen in incident in Oxford
Police say it happened Sunday 8th September just before 11am at the Golden Balls roundabout in Nuneham Courtenay.
A mans been assaulted and had his car keys stolen in Oxford.
The incident happened at about 10.50am on Sunday 8th September on the A7074 Golden Balls roundabout in Nuneham Courtenay.
The offender was driving a white Peugeot van, which he stopped in the middle of the road.
He then approached the victim, a 40-year-old man, who was driving behind him. The offender then punched the victim in the face before taking his car keys and fleeing the scene.
The offender is a white middle-aged man, about 5ft 6ins tall with a medium build.
He was wearing blue jeans and a light coloured top.
The victim received minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer PC Faain Dewan, based at Abingdon police station, said: “This was a concerning incident which resulted in the victim being assaulted and then having his car keys stolen while he was driving.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who saw this, or who has any dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward as soon as possible."
