Man charged with murder in Banbury
It's following the death of 39 year old Neil Comins.
Janaed Akhtar, aged 39, of Cope Road in the town was charged with one count each of murder and perverting the course of justice.
It follows the death of Comins, who died following an assault on Wednesday 3rd January, on Cope Road in Banbury.
A post mortem revealed he died from a traumatic brain injury.
Another man, a 48-year-old from Banbury, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been bailed until 21 March.
Akhtar is due at Oxford Magistrates Court today Thursday 11th January.
