People urged to sweep chimneys after Charlbury pub fire
The warning comes ahead of the colder winter months
People are being urged to sweep their chimneys after a fire at a pub in Charlbury.
Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to the Bull Inn at 12:32pm on Sunday.
Crews from Witney dealt with the flames, which broke out in insulation material around a fan unit on top of the chimney.
The service are urging people to get their chimneys "professionally checked and swept" ahead of the colder winter months, especially with the clocks going back an hour on Saturday evening.
