Man in a balaclava breaks into Kidlington home

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Police are appeal for witnesses after a man wearing a balaclava broke into a home in Kidlington.

The incident occurred in Sterling Road at around 10.10pm on Tuesday 25 February.

A man gained access to a property, opening the bedroom door where the resident was, before fleeing.

The offender is described as a man, wearing a grey tracksuit and a balaclava. He was around 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sophie Smith, said:

“We are appealing for information following this incident.

“I would particularly like to hear from anyone with CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile footage, to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.
