Appeal for information after burglary and assault in Oxford
One man was taken to hospital with stab wounds
Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary and assault in Oxford.
At around 10pm on Thursday May 9th, a man in his twenties was stabbed at an address on Druce Way and had a quantity of cash taken from him.
The victim suffered a broken ankle and an abdominal wound. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The offenders were seen to get into a white compact vehicle at the scene. A white car also turned up at A&E with the victim.
Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Alexander McKend, of Oxford CID, said:
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation following this stabbing and aggravated burglary and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“Our investigation is moving at pace and we have already made four arrests in connection with this incident.
“At this stage, we believe that this is an isolated incident and that there is no wider risk to the public."
