Two men arrested on suspicion of assaulting woman in Finaghy area of South Belfast

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in South Belfast.
It follows an incident in the Benmore Drive area of Finaghy yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV or mobile phone footage.
A PSNI statement said, “Two men have been arrested following a report of an assault on a woman in the in Benmore Drive area of Finaghy, south Belfast sometime between 3.30pm and 4pm yesterday, Monday 3rd June.”
“Police attended and two men, aged 22 and 44 were arrested on suspicion of common assault and both remain in police custody at this time.”
“Anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone with any information, CCTV or other footage that could assist enquiries, are asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1523 of 03/06/24.”
