Man arrested following sudden death of woman in her 80’s in Bangor

A man in his 80's has been arrested following the sudden death of a women in her 80's in County Down.

A PSNI statement issued late last night said, “Police are currently at the scene of the sudden death of a woman aged in her 80s in the Hawthorne Court area of Bangor.”

“An 85-year-old man has been arrested as enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death continue, and remains in custody at this time.”
