Julian Simmons to headline Belfast Pride's Party in the Square
Belfast Pride has announced that local legend, Julian Simmons, will be headlining the annual Belfast Pride Party in the Square, held following the Belfast Pride Parade.
Speaking on the booking, Kirsty Mulholland, Co-Chair of Belfast Pride, said:
“We are very excited to have Julian headline what is such a key event for Belfast Pride. For over 30 years Belfast Pride has been platforming the biggest and best that Belfast and Northern Ireland have to offer, and they don’t get much bigger than our Julian."
Following the Belfast Pride Parade, Party in the Square is the annual after party held in Custom House Square Belfast from 2-7pm.
The concert will include a diverse range of entertainment including local drag acts, Bjorn Identity (Abba tribute act), and Gaelic Electrofolk act HUSK.
Speaking about the event Julian Simmons said:
“It’s an honour to perform for Belfast Pride. This will be my debut gig as a DJ and I am excited to get my hands on the decks! I will be playing some of my favourite 90’s Ibiza tunes and can’t wait to get the crowd into the party mood.”
