An 85 year old man is due in court later charged with the murder of a woman in Bangor.
81 year old Patricia Aust, also known as 'Patsy', was found dead in the living room of her home in the Hawthorne Court area on Sunday.
A PSNI statement said, “Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of Patricia Aust, whose body was found inside a house in the Hawthorne Court area of Bangor on Sunday 2nd June, have charged an 85-year-old man with her murder.”
“Patricia, also known as Patsy, was 81 years old.”
The man is expected to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court onTuesday 4th June.”
“As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
