Two people who died in a helicopter crash in the Dales yesterday have been named by police.
They were 66 year-old Ian Macdonald - who was the pilot - and 16 year-old German national Admarsu Birhan - who was an exchange student.
Police say formal identification is yet to take place.
The investigation into the crash near Burton-in-Lonsdale is continuing.
A team of inspectors from the Air Accident Investigations Branch are carrying out further enquiries.
