Three arrested following police chase in York
It happened in the early hours of this morning.
Three people have been arrested after a police chase in York.
It happened at 12.30am, when officers were carrying out general patrols in the Rawcliffe area of York.
They noticed a silver-coloured Vauxhall Astra acting suspiciously.
Police officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however the vehicle made off and was pursued for a short time. It was brought to a stop on Foss Islands Road.
Officers found a number of power tools in the vehicle.
Three men aged in their 20s were arrested in connection with this incident. The men have since been released under investigation.
