A teenage boy's been assaulted in Thirsk.

It happened around 7pm last Friday - behind the leisure centre in Sowerby.

A group of teenagres attacked the victim - causing him bruising and scratches - one of them also pushed him into a road.

The suspects are described as follows:

A teenage girl with blonde curly hair wearing a black Nike tracksuit

A teenage girl with blonde hair wearing grey leggings and a grey cropped top

A teenage girl wearing black leggings and a green hoodie

A teenager wearing a black tracksuit with black and blonde highlighted hair

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
