Selby and Ainsty by-election confirmed for next month

North Yorkshire council confirmed that the by-election in Selby and Ainsty triggered by Nigel Adams resignation will take place on July 20.

The Government's confirmed a by-election will take place in Selby on the 20th July, following the resignation of Conservative MP.

He's leaving Parliament amid a row over Boris Johnson's resignation honours list, but said he'd still back the party.

Residents in the Selby and Ainsty constituent will be heading to the polling stations on July 20

There'll be a result on the following day, Friday 21 July.
