Man appears in court after Scarborough assault last week
It has left a man in a critical condition in hospital
A man has been in court after an assault in Scarborough last week which left a man in hospital.
It happened at around 1.30pm last Friday (17th September) at the corner of Ramshill Road and Westbourne Grove, opposite the Ramshill Hotel.
32-year-old Daniel George Johnson, who is from Cromwell Terrace in the town, has denied a charge of wounding with intent to cause Grievous Bodily Harm.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at York Crown Court next month.
The victim is still in a critical condition..
