We can exclusively reveal what time the Red Arrows will fly over Scarborough at the Armed Forces Day National Event.

That is now only sixteen days away and is being held on Saturday the 25th of June.

Major John Senior is one of the event co-ordinators and he said: "This hasn't been announced yet I don't think but I've been given permission to mention it today. The Red Arrows will be flying across Scarborough at 1pm and there are other flypasts during the day which final times are yet to be confirmed, but things like The Typhoon and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be included hopefully.

"The event will open at 10am. There will be a parade at 11am which will include serving soldiers and veterans and that will be given a Royal salute at around 11.30am down on the seafront.

"To end the day at 5pm, we've got the Royal Marines doing the sunset bugle call which is a very moving piece and that will close the day. We've got a really fantastic day of activities, airshows and exhibitions on the ground."
