A Scarborough man has been in court after being found with a knife in the town at the weekend.
A Scarborough man has been in court after being found with a knife in the town at the weekend.
Police carried out a stop and search at around 2.30pm on St Nicholas Street on Sunday (23rd May).
Simon Brewster, 25, from Trafalgar Road, is charged with possessing an offensive weapon in public, which he is yet to admit or deny.
He is in custody until he is due back in court next month.
