A Scarborough man's appeared in court after an assault in the town over the weekend.
A Scarborough man has appeared in court after an assault in the town over the weekend.
It happened on North Street at around half past midnight on Saturday, resulting in a 66-year-old man being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Ben Collins, 21, who is from Royal Crescent Lane in Scarborough, was charged with wounding with intent and is yet to enter a plea.
He is in custody until he is back in court later this month.
