Scarborough Athletic Football Club have launched a new initiative designed to help ease loneliness and isolation in the community.

The club said:

"Do you know somebody who is feeling lonely, isolated and would benefit from attending a game at the Flamingo Land Stadium?

"We are wanting to reach out to members of our community who might be struggling to get to a game either through missing the close support from family due to Covid 19 restrictions, difficulty in physically getting to a game or need that extra bit of support to get out. If this sounds familiar, and you know someone who might benefit from watching a match at our Stadium, we would like to hear from you.

"It might be that just a conversation with us or a friend might lead to other things and together we could help and support someone in our community."
