North Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for help finding a missing 31 year-old woman from Helmsley.

Chelsea Allen has now been missing for six days.

She was last seen at an address in Helmsley in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A police helicopter and drone have been called in to help in the search for her.

Chelsea has links to Hemsworth and Pontefract in West Yorkshire so it’s possible that she could have headed for this area. West Yorkshire Police is supporting the missing person inquiry.

North Yorkshire Police Inspector Ian Roberts from the Operational Support Unit said: “It’s very concerning that Chelsea has been missing for six days. We’re supporting her family while our enquires continue to try and locate her.

“If required, the searches will continue across the weekend. I urge any members of the public in the Helmsley area to remain vigilant and report any sightings to police immediately.”

"Anyone who has any information which could help officers with their enquiries should contact police on 101. If you have an immediate sighting of Chelsea, please call 999."
