Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a two-vehicle collision near York.

It happened at around 5.20pm last Monday (6th May) on Moor Lane near to the junction with the A1237 by the village of Knapton.

A black Volkswagen Tiguan and a grey Mini Cooper were involved and three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers say one vehicle was recovered from a hedge at the side of the road and the road was closed for a short time to allow recovery and investigation work to take place.

Police a re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
