North Yorkshire remains on track to hit vaccination targets by mid-February.

The county's Clinical Commissioning Group says they are making good progress in giving jabs to the top four priority groups.

Amanda Bloor is from there and said:

"We are now continuing to increase the offers to those who are over 70. Again, we've made significant progress with over 80s and we remain on target in the last two weeks to the 15th of February to vaccinate all those in the top four cohorts.

"As of Monday nationally, nearly nine million doses of the vaccine have been administered and in the North East and Yorkshire region, that was about 1.3 million first doses and 74,000 second doses.

"In terms of care home residents and staff, I'm pleased to say all bar one care home across North Yorkshire and York has had residents vaccinated. There's one home, due to an on-going outbreak, has not had any residents vaccinated yet."
