A body has been found in the search for a missing Scarborough man.
A Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue Service team looking for 54 year-old Steven Pearson have discovered a body in woodland near Knipe Point.
North Yorkshire Police said:
"He has not yet been formally identified but his family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
"We ask that the privacy of the family is respected at this extremely difficult time."
