Many public tributes on Yorkshire Coast in memory of Queen
Flowers are being laid and books of condolences are being signed
It has been just over a week of tributes along the Yorkshire Coast in memory of Her Majesty The Queen.
Many people have been encouraged to lay flowers in various locations as well as signing books of condolences.
Lorraine Yeoman signed the one in Scarborough Town Hall.
She used to be a Royal household staff member for four years and said: "I wrote thanks for your service and duty and rest in peace. I stayed in Windsor Castle, Sandringham, Balmoral and moved around with the Queen. She was a small person. She was tiny and her skin was beautiful. For the staff, we used to go to a Christmas party at Windsor Castle and used to always get a bottle of spirit, gin or whiskey or something like that from the Queen."
Lorraine spoke to Greatest Hits Radio's Karen Liu:
79-year-old Jean Aimes also signed the book and she said she was one of the last people to receive a letter from the Queen.
She said: "When I was nine I was chosen to be Queen of our street in Scarborough. I sent a card to her wishing her all the best and thanks for what she's done over the years. I got a card back and it came the day before she died on Thursday.
"It was very touching when I opened it. I opened it on the day that she died and I couldn't believe it. It was really, really heartbreaking but to me it was special to me at that age to represent the Queen on our street."
Jean spoke to Greatest Hits Radio's Karen Liu:
Once the book of condolence is complete, it will be sent to Buckingham Palace for the Royal records.
