Man wanted on recall to prison found dead in York

A man who was wanted on recall to prison has been found dead at a property in Acomb, York.

Police had been searching for 33-year-old Scott Hurst.

The ambulance service was called to a property in the Acomb area of York just before 10pm last night (16 March), where Scott Hurst was located. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Police were notified, and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death.
