Man 'seriously injured' in crash following police chase
It happened on the A64 early this morning (June 16)
A man has been left in hospital with serious injuries following a police chase on the A64 in North Yorkshire.
His car came off the road near Bramham and hit a lorry on the A1(M) at around 12:30am on Friday 16 June.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance, and North Yorkshire Police has referred itself to the police watchdog over the crash.
They're also asking to speak to any witnesses, or anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash.
