A man was left with facial injuries after an assault in Easingwold.
It happened around 6.10pm on Friday on Rosemary Court.
The man was punched in the face by two unknown suspects - who then left the scene in a silver Volkswagen Polo.
Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
The man who punched the victim is described as a large, tanned male, with a broad build and short brown hair, who was wearing a grey jumper and grey shorts.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
