Man found unconscious in street in Scarborough

Police are investigating, after a cyclist was discovered on Peashom Road, at 2am today.

Officers are investigating, after a cyclist was found unconscious at around 2am today (Sunday 20 June 2021) on Peasholm Road in Scarborough.

The cyclist, a man in his thirties, was found by a passer-by - not far from the crazy golf course.

He has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with a serious head injury.

There is a road closure in place at Peasholm North Marine and Victoria Park, while officers work at the scene, to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Anyone who was travelling in the area late Saturday night, early Sunday morning, is asked to contact police.
