Man charged in connection with crash that left two schoolboys seriously injured

A man has been charged in connection with a crash in Harrogate that left two schoolboys seriously injured in February.
The two boys were walking along Yew Tree Lane when they were injured in the collision, which involved a Ford Ranger and a Vauxhall Astra.
At the time, police interviewed two drivers, and have now confirmed a 46-year-old has been charged with two accounts of serious injury by careless driving.
He'll appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court tomorrow (22 June).
The second man who was interviewed under cation will face no further action.
