A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Grosmont.

It happened at the Co-op Front Street store, which also houses a Post Office, at around 11.40am yesterday (Thursday 27th January).

A man was reported to be wearing a balaclava and threatened shop staff to hand over money.

The suspect was seen leaving in a dark coloured vehicle.
