Back to normal at airport after emergency repairs

Flights are arriving and departing as normal from Leeds Bradford Airport today (Saturday 6th July) after delays on Friday.
Urgent repairs were needed to the runway, which mean that travellers were grounded for around 4 and a half hours.
Bosses at the airport tell us that the fault was not caused by a specific incident and was all clear for operations to resume around 7.30pm.
