Head of Malton School crowned best in the country
Rob Williams has been named secondary headteacher of the year
The UK's best headteacher of a secondary school is right here in North Yorkshire.
Rob Williams - who runs Malton School - scooped the title last night.
He was selected from thousands of nominations in the Pearson National Teaching awards.
The Pearson National Teaching awards are part of the Teaching Awards Trust, which was established in 1998 by David, Lord Puttnam CBE, as a means of recognising and celebrating excellence in education.
