Police investigate burglary at shop in Filey

Police investigating a burglary at a shop in Filey town centre are appealing for information.

It happened at Boots on Murray Street between 1am and 2am on Sunday 23rd October.

A man in dark clothing with a black hooded top carrying a large bag entered the store and took aftershave and perfumes before walking in the direction of the Three Tuns pub.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, officers are appealing for information about the suspect, or anyone with CCTV covering the incident location.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for PC 1260.
