North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of criminal damage to a parked car in Scarborough.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of criminal damage to a parked car in Scarborough.

It happened on Colescliffe Road near the junction of Colescliffe Crescent, about 3.30pm on Friday 28th May.

Police say an unknown suspect damaged the headlight of a parked silver Vauxhall Vectra.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for an witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have CCTV of the suspect causing the damage.
