Criminal damage to football changing rooms in Haxby

Police are looking for a number of youths in connection.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for assistance to identify a number of youths involved in causing criminal damage to the football changing rooms in Haxby.

It happened on Wednesday between 7.50pm and 8pm on Ethel Ward in Calf Close.

It involved three males, and one female, who are believed to be aged between 13 and 16-years-old.

The group were seen running towards and kicking the door, causing it to break open and causing damage before running away across the field.

They had a couple of bikes with them and were said to be amongst a larger group of youths sat on the steps to the building.

The incident was captured on CCTV and enquiries to identify those involved are ongoing.
