Six jailed for running Class A drugs between Leeds and Scarborough
They ran a county line between September and December 2019
Six men involved in the supply of Class A drugs between Leeds and Scarborough have been jailed for a combined total of more than 37 years.
The gang was lead by Leeds men Cameron Lyn and Ben Conway, who moved heroin and crack cocaine to the Yorkshire coastal town between September and December 2019.
The drugs were bought from Damon Tremble in Leeds and distributed to others in the group, who served as street level dealers.
The six sentenced were:
Cameron Lyn, aged 33, of Easterly Road, Gipton - 11 years and eight months.
Damon Tremble, aged 47, of Blenheim View, Leeds - 7 years.
Benjamin Conway, aged 32, of Clyde Chase, Leeds - 6 years.
Kyah Dalby, aged 28, of HMP Humber - 5 years.
Roy Fogarty, aged 33, of Leicester Square, Manston, Leeds - 4 years 6 months
Ethan McCorrie, aged 27, of Colton Road, Armley, Leeds - 3 years
Speaking after sentencing, Detective Inspector Kevin Daly of West Yorkshire Police said:
“This was a significant drug supply operation which was moving high quantities of Class A drugs to Scarborough from Leeds.
“I’m pleased that the seriousness of their illegal activities has been reflected in the lengthy sentences handed down.”
“Our officers take the investigation of county lines drug dealing and the associated exploitation of young, often vulnerable, people very seriously. I would anyone with concerns about someone involved in this kind of activity to contact us.”
