Body of a man recovered from the River Aire near Selby
It was discovered at Kellingley on Wednesday
An investigation is underway after a man's body was pulled from the River Aire near Selby.
It was discovered by a member of the public at around 1:20pm on Wednesday (February 22) and recovered a short time later.
North Yorkshire Police are carrying out enquiries to identify who it belongs to and the circumstances surrounding their death.
It includes carrying out checks with other police forces.
