American car and classic vehicle show in Hunmanby

There is an American car and classic vehicle show in Hunmanby today.
It is on from 10am until 4pm in the centre of the village at Cross Hill and anyone is welcome to see them for free.
Organisers will be looking for donations though as the event is to try and raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
John Wragg is one of them and said:
"There was a young lady in the village who probably about 10 years ago she had a really bad accident and it was the Yorkshire Air Ambulance that really saved her life.
"For some reason we get a huge number of American cars and normally we fill most of Cross Hill and the White Swan car park but this year who knows? Because of Covid.
"People arrive right through the day so we probabyl very rarely get more than 50-60 people in a large area but we've also got six to seven marshalls so really it's just a case of making sure people don't congregate in large groups.
"There's no entry fee, we don't sell anything , it's all donations and over the last seven years, we've probably raised £6,000-£7,000 and it's just gone up every year. I think two years ago it was about £1,500 but by in large, we probably get 200-250 people during the day."
