Part of the A64 is shut, after the road has collapsed at Rillington.

It's closed in both directions between the B1248 near Scagglethorpe, Norton-on-Derwent and the B1249 near Willerby, Staxton due to a burst water main.

Contractors are in attendance.

Traffic is being diverted via local routes.

National Highways says if this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time:

"Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
