Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was discovered unconscious in the street in Langham.

The man in his 70s was found by a member of public on Holt Road just after 8pm yesterday (Thursday 28 November).

He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and was subsequently transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where remains in a serious but stable condition.

Detective Sergeant Mark Tate said: “This man was found unconscious and had sustained serious injuries for which he is still being treated.
