Norwich murder victim named

He was fatally stabbed last week

Norfolk Police have named the victim of a murder in Norwich.

Pending formal Coroner's inquest proceedings, the force says 48-year-old Abdulkadar Chadli died on Friday evening after being stabbed in the chest.

Officers were called to a property on Mousehold Street at 10:15pm on 1st November to reports a stabbing had taken place.

Chadli was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 46-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

The 46-year-old, Elvis Vickers, who lives on Mousehold Street, has now been charged with murder and is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court today (5th November).

The 37-year-old has been released on police bail until January 2025, as investigations continue.

A police cordon remains at the Mousehold Street address while the investigation is ongoing.
