Police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a teenager at a flat in Norwich.

A man and woman in their 50s are being questioned by officers on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

It's after police discovered the body of a 19-year-old man at a ground floor flat in Lefroy Road in Norwich at 10.40pm on Saturday (21 September).

It's believe his body had been there for around eight days before it was found.

The man and woman were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning where they remain.

The force is asking anyone with information, particularly leading up to the man’s body being discovered between 12 September and 21 September to get in touch.

Speaking earlier this week, Detective Inspector Dave McCormack said: "Detectives believe this is a drug-related incident and the suspects do not present a wider risk to the community and do not believe this is linked to the murder in Paragon Place earlier this month.

"We appreciate this is a distressing incident and there will be high-visibility police activity over the coming days in the area.”
