Hardwick Festival launches Battle of the Bands competition with a main stage prize
County Durham’s Hardwick Festival, renowned for its electrifying atmosphere and star-studded lineups, celebrates its tenth anniversary with an unprecedented opportunity for budding bands and musical artists from the region.
The popular summer gathering is pleased to announce 'The Road to Hardwick' Battle of the Bands competition, which promises local North East talent a chance to shine on the festival's mainstage.
This thrilling competition - set to take place at The WonderBar in Newcastle - isn't just about the glory of the mainstage spotlight, though.
The winning band - who will bag a prime spot eon Hardwick’s celebrated mainstage - will be catapulted into the limelight with a host of incredible prizes, features in top music magazines, a day's studio time at a prestigious recording studio in Newcastle, a priceless music industry experience session, and a tailored press campaign courtesy of Northside Creative. As if that's not enough, the winning band will also score free festival tickets for friends and supporters.
What’s more, even those bands and artists who don't clinch the top spot will benefit from invaluable insights and advice from a panel of industry pros, national music journalists, and regional radio icons.
