WATCH: First images of Wythenshawe Hall wreckage
Key 103 has been granted access into one of Manchester's most historic buildings two months after a devastating fire broke out.
Work has began at Whythenshaw Hall to restore the building to its former glory. We were granted access to look inside the building which was gutted by an arson attack in March.
Currently the hall remains a construction site which requires safety equipment to gain access as parts of the building are still extremely fragile from the fire and water damage which was caused.
Manchester City Council has been working alongside Friends' of Whythenshawe and Heritage at Risk of Historic England to restore the building.
Friend's of Whythenshawe Deputy Chairman, Paul Selby said: "It's a miracle that the building is still standing, but it is and we're going to do our best to restore it."
He added: "It's going to cost millions of pounds to restore, it's a grade two listed building and some of the oldest bits of the hall have taken the brunt of the fire."
Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council Cllr Sue Murphy was also there to witness the damage.
