Update: Teenage stabbing victim dies

The 15-year-old boy who was stabbed in Manchester earlier this week has died.

The 15-year-old boy who was stabbed in Manchester earlier this week has died.

Kyron Webb was attacked on Worsley Avenue in Moston on Tuesday (17th October 2017).

He fought for his life for three days before dying on Friday (20th October 2017). A murder investigation's been launched and police have currently got two teenagers in custody. An 18-year old has been released and eliminated from enquiries.

They're appealing for witnesses or anyone else with information to contact them.

Chief Superintendent Wasim Chaudhry said:

"My heart goes out to Kyron and his family during this extremely difficult time. I can't imagine what they are going through and we're doing all we can to support them.

"We will not stop until those responsible are brough to justice and I would like to appeal directly to the public to please come foward with any information you have.

"We know the area was busy at the time of the attack and it's likely someone saw something that they don't necessarily realise could prove vital to our investigation. If you saw something, please call us.

"A boy's life has been taken away and his family deserve answers."
