United's Jose Mourinho in burglar scare

A man has been arrested and jailed for an attempted burglary at the home of Jose Mourinho.

A man arrested near the London home of the new Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has been jailed for attempted burglary.

Pictures in the press appear to show police officers standing next to a man in a baseball cap outside the new Old Trafford boss's house.

Gabor Roman, 25, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four weeks in prison when he pleaded guilty to attempted burglary after his arrest in an upmarket area of the capital where houses cost millions of pounds.

Roman pleaded guilty to the offence at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

On the day of the incident Mourniho was at Wimbledon watching Andy Murray win the title. It was the same days Mourinho's home country of Portugal beat France to become Euro 2016 champions.
