The family of the 11-year-old boy who died following the hit and run in Tameside are paying tribute to him.

Shahzaib Hussain was killed on Moss Street West at the junction with Mowbray Street at about 16:45 on Monday (29th February 2016).

Shahzaib’s sister, Javairiya, and his cousins have paid the following tribute on behalf of the whole family:

“Shahzaib was a lovely boy. No one could resist being his friend because he had such a bubbly and fun personality. My dad calls him his "Teddy Bear" and "Gudoo" because he was so loveable.

“All of our family loves him so much because he was the youngest. People who don't even know us came to our house to pray for him.
