Transport bosses outline plans ahead of Manchester's Olympic & Paralympic parade

200,000 people expected to attend.

Manchester's transport chiefs say they're fully prepared to welcome 200,000 people to attend this month's Olympic and Paralympic celebrations.

The parade which takes place on October 17th will see Team GB's Olympic and Paralympic squads travel along Deansgate before attending a celebration in Albert Square.

Extra bus and tram services have been made available as well as a park and ride service and five thousand car parking spaces.
