Third man arrested after fatal stabbing of Neri Morse in Ancoats

A 22 year old man has become the third person to be arrested on suspicion of murder after the fatal stabbing of 24 year old Neri Morse in Ancoats last week.
He handed himself in to police rhis morning and remains in custody.
Two men have already been charged in connection with the attack in the Pollard Street area last Wednesday night.
Neri Morse was fatally injured, while a second man in his 20s was hurt.
23 year old Meshai Newby, of Brydon Avenue, is accused of murder, section 18 assault and posession of a bladed article.
23 year old Rushaun Brown, of Higher Ardwick, was charged over the weekend with murder, section 18 assault and possession of a bladed article.
Police are also investigating an incident at the Zaf's Go Local store on Butler Street earlier that same night.
A car believed to be linked to the case was recovered in the Reddish area of Stockport at around 11:45pm last night.
Detective Chief Inspector Wes Knights, of GMP's Major Incident Team, said: "Whilst two men are on remand and another is in police custody for questioning, we are continuing to gather all available evidence to ensure those responsible face justice.
"I would like to use this opportunity to thank the members of the public who've already shared information with us.
"We continue to appeal to anyone else, particularly those who have information about the pre-curser incident at Zaf's Go Local or the deposition of the vehicle in the Reddish area several hours later to contact us or Crimestoppers immediately"
