Teenager dies after being hit by a train in Cheshire
The 17 year old was killed on Wednesday night.
A 17-year-old boy has died after being hit by a train in Cheshire.
The boy, from Wilmslow, was struck at Handforth Station on Wednesday evening at around 6.50pm.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to the scene, alongside paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service.
Specially trained family liaison officers are helping to support the family as they come to terms with what's happened.
This incident's not being treated as suspicious.
