Teenage boys charged after handbag robbery at Blackley

Two teenage boys have been charged after a handbag was snatched from a woman at Blackley, north Manchester earlier this month.

The pair are accused of taking the bag containing £7,000 from a woman at Leywell Road in Blackley on Sunday 10th May around 2.30pm.

The youngsters - who are too young to be named by the media legally being 16 and 17 - will appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates on Monday (18th May).
